"He said to them, Let the little children come to me, and do not

Kids are the future of HPC
Our children, as the future of our church, play a huge part in our life here at Huntersville Presbyterian. Here are the ways to engage your children in learning Biblical truths in a safe and fun environment:

Children ages 4 years old – 5th grade are welcome to join us for worship – KID STYLE! Using Explore the Bible curriculum, students are engaged in weekly study using games, crafts, music and activities. Children choosing to attend Patch Express leave the service after the Children’s Moment.
For our youngest and most precious members, we offer a nursery during both Sunday School and the worship service. The nursery is fully equipped for infants, all the way up to toddlers/preschoolers up to age 3.
We have grade level classes that meet each week from 9 -10 am. Each class is led by a team of youth or adult leaders. We also use the Explore the Bible curriculum in SS classes. During the summer months, we combine classes and use rotation models to focus in on particular stories.
For 10 weeks in the fall and then 10 weeks in the winter/spring, our children meet each Wednesday night from 6:15-7:30 for Kids’ Praise.
During Kids’ Praise in the fall, we prepare for the Christmas program using stations, drama and/or music. That program is a community outreach and presented the first Sunday in December.
During the spring session, we may work on musical programs, or do a rotation set and study more about a particular story in the Bible.
