Sunday, January 8, 2012 - Parent Potluck in the FLC from 5:30-7:00pm.  Chris will go over and distribute the Youth Calendar for the coming months, update parents and students on some changes and answer any questions you have about the Youth Ministry.

Families are asked to bring something to feed approx. 6-8 people.  We also need 3-4 volunteers willing to help set-up, serve and clean up.

SKI TRIP - February 24-26 - Winterplace Ski Resort with accommodations at the Glade Springs Resort.  The tentative schedule is to depart from the Church at 5:00pm on Friday the 24th and return late in the afternoon of Sunday the 26th.  There will be lots of activities available so if skiing is not your thing there will still be plenty of fun to go around.  If you have never skied before a free lesson is available.
Cost:   Attend only - no skiing - $75
           Ski and rent equipment - $215
           Snowboard and rent equipment - $245
           Ski/Snowboard - bring your own equipment - $170

In addition you will need some lunch money for Saturday and Sunday and snacks to bring along.  The deadline to sign up with a deposit of $75 is due by Sunday, January 15th.  To sign up bring your deposit to youth meetings on Sundays or contact David Drummond at david@thedrummonds.net, or 704-905-7833 or see him upstairs in the tech booth after the 9:00 service.  Any questions contact David or Chris.
